Walking While Black: L.O.V.E. Is The Answer As Closing Night Film
“WALKING WHILE BLACK: L.O.V.E. Is The Answer” is a socially-conscious documentary film bridging the painful gap between peace officers and the communities they serve. L.O.V.E. is an acronym for police and others who serve the community — LEARN about the community you serve, OPEN your heart to the people in it, VOLUNTEER yourself to be part of the solution in their lives, and EMPOWER others to do the same. This powerful film about reconciliation and putting love into action is the launch of a movement to end racial profiling, and usher in a new era of equal protection under the law, and vastly improved relations between peace officers and the communities they serve.
