Inuk learned one thing from her grandfather; the value of working with her hands. It has just as much significance today as it did for her as a child. The indigenous artist from the Northwest Territories has a long history working with natural textiles which she uses in tufting and jewelry creation in her business, Inuk 360. Strength, resilience and sensitivity emerge from her pieces to tell her story. For Inuk, we are always stronger together.

Director Biography - Marie Côté
Marie is a director from Quebec. She started her career in advertising to realize that she wanted to reach people differently and above all more vividly. Quickly, she plunged into the world of documentary where she exploited her sensitivity and her human approach to the maximum. She notably produced a series of documentary portraits across Canada and a campaign for the organization Les Petits Frères. Marie finds comfort and richness in the connections she weaves with these subjects, as well as in the authenticity of the process. She wants to create touching and human works that envelop people in hope and humanity. For her, filmmaking is a powerful tools for the transmission of emotions, but especially of stories. |
